The Wychavon Way Walk
The principal District walk developed as a partnership venture between Wychavon District Council and Worcestershire County Council and starts at Vines Park in Droitwich Spa.
This longer and more adventurous route extends 40 miles to link with Broadway, traversing a variety of landscapes including stunning views across the Vale of Evesham. Broadway itself was established soon after the Norman Conquest and later became an important centre for trade in Cotswold wool.
The town is now better known for its independent shops, hospitality and Cotswold stone buildings. Eight rustic bespoke oak benches are positioned along the route at key locations including Eckington, Pershore and Fladbury. These were installed and funded by Severn Waste Services as part of the Landfill Communities Fund.
