Saltways is a public art commission by the canal & River Trust by artist Katy Beinart that celebrates the canal and salt heritage of Droitwich.
A-sculpture, based on the old saltworks factories, will be transported by boat to Droitwich, and filled with salt from all over the world and locally produced Droitwich salt in a special event on 6th May at the St Richards Festival.
The artwork will then be exhibited at the Droitwich Heritage Centre & Salt Museum, and will depart by boat in September 2018.
