New Bar, New Bistro, New Us!

The Holt Fleet is set in 14 acres of its own grounds on the banks of the River Severn, just outside the black and white picturesque village of Ombersley and only 4 miles from Worcester.

This former hotel was rebuilt in 1937, but dates back to the late 18th century when it was a popular stop for Victorian riverside cruises to take in the now famous Thomas Telford bridge, which was constructed in 1828. Today, it is still as impressive and as popular for dining and weddings.

Since 1983, The Holt Fleet has been family owned and run, priding itself with an excellent reputation for food, drinks and service.

For dining up to 45 with open fire and overlooking the River Severn and Thomas Telford Bridge.

Conservatory

Our conservatory takes full advantage of the beautiful setting with large windows from ceiling to floor. A light, modern and contemporary room which opens out on to the patio area and gardens.

Function Suite

With it’s double doors opening out on to the patio area which is exclusive to guests using this room and views of the gardens and river, make it perfect to celebrate that special occasion. It has its own bar, stage and dance floor.

River Pods

Our new river pods sit proudly on the banks of the River Severn. They are available to private hire and can seat groups of 6 or 4.

We offer full table service and on hire fully laid with linen, cushions and blankets. We also offer a bottle of prosecco included for £20.

Secret Garden

This is our newest addition to The Holt Fleet. A beautiful riverside garden for exclusive use by our wedding guests or a private party. Closed off behind gates you can relax with your family and friends and enjoy riverside drinks & photographs. Full service for drinks and food is also provided in this area by our team.

Riverside Garden

We have our lovely outside bar “Hettie” who stands proudly overlooking the garden ready to serve drinks. Alongside the pods we have an undercover patio area and benches for you to enjoy the views over a drink or our wonderful menu options.
