“Salt Fest” takes place in mid-September and celebrates the Town’s Salt Heritage.
The weekend festival also provides a showcase opportunity for the local community and businesses. Attractions include a “Salt Alley” with Heritage displays, Roman Soldiers and re-enactors, live music and entertainment, street markets and community stalls, a dog show, a duck race on the River Salwarpe, puppet shows and a canal tow path fun run.
