Boat Trips (Pamela May)

All aspects of running, maintaining and crewing the boat is entirely undertaken by volunteers with no paid personnel. Any profits from trips go towards the running and maintenance of the boat. The cost of trips has remained the same for some years and reluctantly the trust has decided that with increased running and maintenance costs it is necessary to revise the cost of all trips.

The cost of trips for 2017 will be:

• 2 hours –   Salwarpe and Lock 6 £70
• 3 hours –   Ladywood and the Marina £80
• 5+ hours – Hanbury £125
• 8 hours –   Dunhampstead, Astwood, Hawford £160

The 2 hour trips are new this year and in response to requests from care homes who feel that their residents would prefer a shorter experience.

We have also introduced a new trip to Astwood, this is an extension of the Hanbury trip going north along the Birmingham Worcester Canal.

If you require transport to and from the boat Droitwich has a brand new community minibus, fully fitted for mobility impairment. This can be hired by contacting Droitwich CVS on 01905 779778.
