Walking as a form of exercise is free, fun, sociable, suitable for all ages and a great way for families, friends, visitors and locals to keep fit together. It is ever popular through the different seasons and ranges from adventurous for intrepid explorers, through serious rambles to casual spare time strolls.
There's the popular “Droitwich Spa Town Trail” and famous Guided Walks which lead out from St Richards House there are many other routes local to the town which enable visitors to explore further and enjoy the beautiful countryside, wildlife and surrounding heritage. The routes are clearly sign posted and have regular distance markers. The varying distances, terrain, vistas’ and route composition all combine to ensure that there is something to suit all ages, abilities and interests.
Many of the walking routes are also suitable for runners and cyclists and walking with your dog.
